IMC, M.E. is led by Abbas Al-Humaid (a Gulf States National) and Richard Lobley. 

Abbas is the only Gulf States national to be awarded Certified Management Consultant status, an accreditation only awarded to a few limited numbers of consultants worldwide.  Richard is also a Chartered Management Consultant, having worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for several years, following a career in the UK Armed Forces.

Abbas possesses over 17 years of experience in business advisory, management consultancy and audit in very challenging and senior management positions within renowned organizations such as Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PKF, Mazars.  His main areas of competency are in leading total comprehensive changes assignments, management structure development, turning around sick units, strategic analysis & planning, restructuring, business process reengineering, risk management consultancy, auditing and accounting.  Abbas has successfully led a number of complicated comprehensive change assignments in the Gulf region for governmental / financial entities.

Richard has over 20 years of management experience, based on 17 years as an Officer in the Royal Navy and 7 years leading consulting teams on UK and global projects.  He specialises in Programme and Project Management and Creativity and Innovation, and has consulted with the major UK Government Departments and blue chip UK organisations.

Abbas is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC)- UK, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - USA, Certified Financial Consultant (CFC) - Canada, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) - USA, Certified Business Manager (CBM) – USA, a Fellow member of Institute of Business Consulting (FIMC) – UK, a member of the Institute of Management Consultants – USA and possessor of MBA Academic Equivalent- from USA, Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, UK, and possessing two bachelor degrees in Accounting and Economics.

Richard is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) - UK, Chartered Engineer (CEng) - UK, MBA and MSc and Postgraduate Diploma in Nuclear Reactor Engineering.  He is a Member of the Institutes of Mechanical Engineers, Business Consulting and Institute of Leadership and Management.
