The Diploma was launched by the Institute of Business Consulting, UK to facilitate achieving the CMC® (Certified Management Consultant) award. It takes you 70 – 80% closer to the CMC® award, which opens the door for you to sell your services worldwide and be recognised globally as one of the top management consultants.

It is important to remember that in order to deliver your management consultancy services you do not need to be a full-time consultant and geographical boundaries do not prevent you from selling your services around the world.

The Diploma will develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours to operate as a management consultant. In order to obtain the CMC® award, you will then need to demonstrate how you apply your knowledge through practical work based experience as a management consultant.

The Diploma in Management Consultancy is the only global professional award of its type and is set apart from other qualifications like MBA’s, MA’s and PHd’s in that it is a competency based award.

Whether you are already operating as a management consultant, planning to set up as a management consultant or a manager seeking to expand your portfolio by developing consultancy skills for use internally within your organisation, this programme will help you.

The Diploma in Management Consultancy should normally take between 8 months and one year to complete. You will need to set aside two days per month as well as a few hours each month for personal tutoring. In total, the course will require 240 guided learning hours (this figure includes time for study, assessment and personal one-on-one tutoring).

The qualification is offered by the Institute of Business Consultancy UK and upon successful completion of the course candidates will be awarded a professional qualification by the Chartered Management Institute- UK.

What is the cost?

The diploma costs a total of USD25000 with a 10% deposit upfront to secure your place on the course. Full payment is required before the course starts.

There is an additional charge per candidate of 3000$ to deliver the course outside Oman.
